Reflecting on an Incredible Year and Looking ahead to 2024

As the year comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the year. It's been an incredible twelve months, filled with growth, innovation, and shared successes. Your trust in us has been the driving force behind our achievements, and we couldn't be more thankful.

Celebrating 2023: A Year of Achievements

Throughout the year, our team of 40 employees, have worked together with customers on over 970 individual projects, which excludes our contract powder coating jobs, so in reality that number is much higher. Here are some interesting stats, to give you an idea of just how much material we have gone through in the last 12 months:

  • Over 77,000 individual items manufactured

  • 6.93 tonnes of powder coating powder, which is on par with the weight of a male African elephant

  • 14,000sqm of sheet (stainless, galvanised and aluminium) which is equivalent to 71 tennis courts

  • 270,000 meters of wire - The same distance from Sydney Harbour Bridge to Mudgee

The All Metal Products team has also expanded over the past 12 months, with two new sales people, an additional CAD designer, and several new people joining our production team in various roles. We have also seen internal promotions happen within the existing team.

We have been fortunate enough to be able to provide sponsorship to Mount Druitt Little Athletics and Dunheved Golf Club. In particular, we provided Mount Druitt Little Athletics with custom made and designed signage, storage cages, and assisted with their website rebuild. We also had the opportunity to donate hundreds of wire baskets to a local charity, Hawkesbury Helping Hands, who provide food hampers to those doing it tough in the Hawkesbury / Western Sydney areas.

It’s not news that being recognised as an Australian business is so important to us, so once again we renewed our Australian Made License. This cements our commitment to Australian Manufacturing and providing our customers with Australian made products. We truly believe in Australian Manufacturing across all industries, and will continue to always support local.

Our work in the design and production of the ICU medical trolley was recognised in several awards, including Project of the Year, for the National Endeavour Manufacturing Awards. Our work was also published in Manufactures Monthly and Industry Update throughout 2023, highlighting the importance of our work. The ICU trolley was designed so that a patient can stay connected to critical life support, medicines and monitoring equipment when they are moved around a hospital. This trolley not only removes risk of errors in disconnection and reconnection, it saves nurses about 40 minutes on each move, each way, and is a project we are very proud to be recognised for.

We have also entered into the Electric Vehicle Space, working closely with several customers to produce the first pole mounted EV charging station in Australia, and several other stand alone charging stations. These stations are already in use across New South Wales and Victoria, and we hope to continue working in this space, providing the infrastructure to keep Electric Vehicles running nationwide.

Looking Ahead To 2024

Looking ahead into 2024, we are excited to see what new projects will come about, and what industries we may get to service. Our factory will undergo it’s annual maintenance, with all of our machinery under going inspection during our closure period. In addition, we are upgrading and replacing our Powder Coating Line chain, which will be ready for the rush when we re-open in the new year. The works on replacing our 9000sqm factory roof are now complete, so we now move onto the next stage, and are having our solar panels serviced and cleaned in the first quarter of 2024, to enhance our sustainability.

In regards to the All Metal Products team, we are still in recruitment mode, and looking at taking on two new apprenticeships in 2024, one in the office and one in the factory. If you know anybody who may be interested in working with us, please have them send a resume to recruitment@allmetalproducts.com.au as we are always keen to here from like minded individuals.

Our sales team will be representing All Metal Products at several trade shows and Expo’s throughout the year. This will include Expo’s for Healthcare, Electric Vehicle’s, construction and more. If you are attending the Expo’s on in Sydney, please keep an eye out for us, and stop in to say hello to the All Metal Products team.

We are also very excited about being published in the 2024 / 2025 Australian Health and Aged Care Resource Guide, which will feature our very own range of medical products. The magazine aims to connect leading industry professionals and is dedicated to improving the aged care and healthcare sectors across Australia. If you are in the Health / Medical industry, the resource guide may just make it’s way across your desk!
